Olse.i and Bishop H. P. Hansen were the speakers, all oi whom paid tribute to her memory and noble life. She was noted for : her charitable work One speaker said she had been a mother to tho ward. She did a great deal of work among the sick and prepared the dead for burial. The ward choir furnished appropriate music, "Sometime "Some-time We'll Understand," "Somewhere the Sun Is Shining" and "God He With You Till We Meet Again " Miss Lawrel Minei fang, "Face 10 Face." Mrs. Peterson had been a'l officer in the Relief Society for ten years and the Relief Society officers marched in front of the; casket and canied the dowers. Thosj who came from out of town to attend funeral were her sister, Mrs Hans Johnson of Colorado. Two daughters, Mrs. Charles Terry and Mrs. Calvin Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Sorenson, Soren Sorenson, Mrs. Phena Sundrup of Ephraim, Mrs. Beckstrom, Leda Beckstrom, Mrs. A. Gundersou of Mt. Pleasant Ed. Beckstrom of Moroni, and James Nunley of Spring City. . Mrs. Peterson leaves her husband, Lorenzo Peterson and the following children to mourn her loss. Mrs. Charles A. Terry of Burnt Fork, Wyoming, Mrs. Stena Jones of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Marion Tucker and Mrs. Merril Fowels of Fairview and Arthur L. Peterson, Lewis Peterson and Leland Peterson of Fairview. One daughter, Mrs. Fewman Brady died of the Spanish Influenza last January. She also leaves about thirty grand children and a host of friends,! Besides her otwn family she also took two motherless babies' and kept each of them more than a year. Her son Arthur served one year in the army. Mrs. Mary . Nordstrom Peterson' was born in Sweden July 22nd, 1858 and came across the plains with her parents when 3 years old and came to Fairview at the age of six. She was counsellor in the primary for several years and was counsellor to Annie D. Stevens when she was stake present of the Y. L. M. I. A. and served serv-ed as first counsellor to Sarah E. Fowels in the Fairview ward Relief", Society for ten years. She was a; devoted wife and mother but waai never to busy to go and nurse ttia sick or prepare the dead for burial She was charitable and kind to alL and many of the poor and needy) called her blessed. Mrs. Addie Mower entertained ati her home August 18th. at a farewell; party given for Mrs. John O. Carlston. Carl-ston. About twelve ladies were present. pres-ent.
