Show WALES. Birdie Xamb and Tess Thomas, Thom-as, who are attending Summer school at the U. of U!, are home for a few days. Mrs. P. C. Anderson is visiting visit-ing her son who is attending the University at Salt Lake. Mrs. Ben Thomas was here last week to attend her sister's wedding. Miss Pearl Mortensen is visiting with La Von Davis. . A farewell party was given in honor of Edward Edmunds Tuesday evening, after which a drowning out party was begun which lasted until 7:30 a. m. The result was that everyone was up and doing, feeling fresh and full of life. Then about 50 young people gained entrance to the Pavilion and a "Before Breakfast" dance was enjoyed. Bishop and Mrs. W. R. Davis are spending the week end on the east mountains. D. L. Thomas and Mrs Stephen Jensen have gone to Emerv to attend the funeral of Mrs. Lizzie Furgeson. 1 Harry Thomas is a Lehi visitor visit-or this week. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Greenwood Green-wood of Elsinore are the guests of Mrs. Greenwood's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Rees. Chloe Rees is an Ephraim visitor this week. Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Rees spent the week end at Ephraim. The 24th of July was celebrated cele-brated in grand style. The parade began at 9:30 a. m., af-. ter which a program was given, horse races and a ball game were enjoy.ed. The day ended ..with a lively dance in the evening. even-ing. Ephraim orchestra furnished furn-ished the music. |
