Show Highest Price Paid For Lambs One of the best lamb sales ever made in Mount Pleasant was the one made Wednesday when four cars of lambs were sold by J. B. Staker, Christian T. Madsen and Parley Ros-enlof Ros-enlof to W. H. Grannis of Oakland, California. The price paid for the lambs was 1 1 V2 cents per pound with 1.0 shrinkage in weighing. The average weight of the lambs was about 98 poun'ds. This would make them bring a little more than $11.25 per heart There were 1280 lambs sold in this shipment. The feeders were purchased last fall for about 7 cents. This makes the greatest profit ever made by feeding feed-ing lambs here. |
