Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS. Harry Ericksen, J. W. Anderson, and Vernon Anderson spent part of the week fishing at Gooseberry. In honor of her niece, Miss Lila Lee of Rexburg. Idaho, who is visiting visit-ing here, Mrs. Earl Seely entertained entertain-ed at a beautifully appointed luncheon lunch-eon Thursday afternoon. Covers were placed for eight. t Mrs. J. D. Simpson, Mrs. Hannah Barnett. Mrs. Sherman Allred of Salt Lake. Miss Areiiee Barnett. and Miss Eva Simpson were entertained at luncheon Thursday afternoon by Mrs. E. H. Ericksen and Miss Kate Ericksen. Mrs. Fred Rasmussen entertained with a kensington and porch luncheon lunch-eon Wednesday afternoon for the Home Culture Club and several friends. In a peanut contest first prize was awarded to Mrs. A. Crane. Twenty guests were present. Miss Belva Cox of Fairview entertained en-tertained Monday evening at the Cox farm for the members of ihe s'ake Y. L. and Y. M. M. I. A. About fifty guests, representing every town in the stake, were present. Games and musical numbers were played followed follow-ed by a dainty luncheon. Louise Winters, El and Frerla Rasmussen. Ras-mussen. Ruth Jorgensen. Iris Rns-mussen, Rns-mussen, Elva Seely, Margaret Peel, and Dorothy Simpson were guests at a delightful lawn party Saturday afternoon af-ternoon in honor of Alice Seely's ninth birthday anniversary. Prizes were awarded to Freda Rasmussen and Ruth Jorgensen. Mrs. Scheider of Salt Lake Cii is visiting with her mother. Mis. Camilla Noland. She expects to remain re-main here the rest of the summer. |
