Show LYCEUM COURSE FOR MOUNT PLEASANT The people of Mount Pleasant are to be treated this year to a course of Lyceum entertainments which will be equal to or better than any course we have yet had here. Lyceum work needs no argument, except to call attention to tne excellent excel-lent character of the courses that have been given here in the past, and the uplift the community has experienced from having supported them. This year the committee has arranged ar-ranged for a course of five entertainments, entertain-ments, all imported numbers. There will be one popular lecture, two mu-Isical mu-Isical numbers, one play the University Univer-sity Players and one cartoonist. The first number appears on Wednesday evening, November 21. On this date Montraville M. Wood will give a wonderful demonstration and lecture on the torpedo and submarine sub-marine as they are and as they may become, and their great possibilities as instruments of war. Other topics of universal importance and appeal will also be treated by tnts noted lecturer. More detailed announcement announce-ment will be made in next week's issue of the Pyramid. The other numbers are to appear as follows: University- Players, December 6. Rob Roy Male Quartet, January 10. - Colby, Cartoonist, February 1. , Roumania Hyde company, March 4. Season tickets for all five numbers may be had for $1.50 for adujts, and $1.00 for students. |
