Show LIBERTY ISSUE SIX BILLION. Secretary McAdoo Fixes Minimum for New Loan. New York. Six billion dollars is the minimum amount which the people of the United States are asked to subscribe sub-scribe for the fourth Liberty loan, according ac-cording to an announcement by Will-lam Will-lam (I. McAdoo, secretary of the treasury, treas-ury, in a stirring address here Tuesday Tues-day night outlining the government's plan for the campaign, which starts Saturday. The share allotted to New York rcderal reserve district is if l.SOO.OOU-000, l.SOO.OOU-000, or liO per cent of the greatest loan yet offered. The loan .which will bear ii per cent interest, will ran for twenty years, maturing October 25, VXiS, unless the government should exercise ex-ercise its reserved right to redeem the bonds on or after October 35, 1933. |
