Show DOUBLE FUNERAL FOR SCHOOL MEN The double funeral services held Monday afternoon, in the South ward chapel for J. Elmer El-mer Johansen and Knud Ther-kelson, Ther-kelson, principal and janitor respectively for the public schools, who were accidentia electrocuted Friday morning, were attended by the largest assemblage ever attending a funeral in Mount Pleasant; many having to remain outside during the services. Hundreds of schools children as well as others were not able to get in the chapel. The caskets were conveyed to the chapel from the homes through a line formation for-mation of school children, each girl of whom carried flowers. The floral offerings were conveyed con-veyed in the three automobile trucks and were in charge ot I the public school faculty. The services M ere in charge of C. L. Stewart of the South Ward Bishopric and began with an anthem by the choir, "Tho, Deepning Trials," and Bishop James Larsen offered the invocation. in-vocation. The choir sang "O .My Father" and the speakers , were J. W. Anderson, Prof. .Louis A. Petersen, Desmond J. Barker of Ogden, a missionary .companion of M'jr. Johansen, i A. II. Anderson, M. A. Mikkel-,sen Mikkel-,sen of Fountain Green, a missionary mis-sionary companion of Mr. Ther kelson, Bishop Louis Neilsen of Fountain Green, President kA. Merz and C. L. Stewart. Miss Mar.jorie Winters sang "Oh Dry Those Tears" ac i com uuiied by Miss Winona I Cherry at the piano and Miss Aileen Phillips on the violin A duet 'Sometime Somewhere' was sung by Miss Ruth Mon sen and Mrs. Ruby "Hafen. ( The closing number by the i choir was "One Sweetly Solemn Sol-emn Thought,", with Mrs. Ru-jby Ru-jby Hafen as soloist and the (benediction was pronounced I by President Daniel Rasmus-I Rasmus-I sen. The pallbearers for Mr. f Johansen included, Vern II. Gunderson, Harry G. Ericksen , R. W. Weech, Paul Monsen, l llyrum Christensen and And-(rew And-(rew Johansen, and the pall-I pall-I bearers for Mr. 'Therkelson were Christian Johansen, Lou-i Lou-i is Hansen, Harold Madsen, Max Christensen, Jorgen Madden, Mad-den, and W. K. Peterson, Mr. , Johansen 's grave was dedi jcated by Mads Anderson and Mr. Therkelson 's by Andrew j Larsen.
