Wall entertained enter-tained at dinner Tuesday, the occasion occa-sion being their little daughter, Betty's Bet-ty's third hirthday anniversary. Covers Cov-ers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Johnson, Mrs. A. Crane, Mrs. N. F. Madsen, Mrs. Pauline Burns, Mr. and Mrs. Wall, Miss Margaret Wall, W. B. Crane, Viola Johnson, Douglas Mad-Ben Mad-Ben and Harold and Betty Wall. The Home Culture club met Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Hannah Burnett. An interesting article, ar-ticle, "Every-Day Law for Women," was' road by Mrs. Fred Itasmussen, and Mrs. A. Crane talked on "Bad Cooking and Its Cost." The club discussed the Raw-Food subject led by Mrs. O. F. Wall. Miss Tlieo Nelson Nel-son sang "Somewhere a Voice Is Calling," Call-ing," and "My Creed." Mrs. A. D. Christensen was elected secretary tor the remainder ol' the club year. The club members and visitors present were Mesdames O. F. Wall, W. W. A. Id i-inli A Hvnno H. C. The next meeting of the club will be with Mrs. Andrew Knudson Wednesday February 14. Dr. and Mrs. R. A. Burch were the honored guests at a most enjoyable enjoy-able party given Saturday evening at the J. Morgan Johnson home by the local Masonic lodge and Eastern Star chapter. Three tables of "500" were played and prizes awarded to Mrs. R. Andersen, A. D. Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Harney. Roses and carnations were used in the decorative dec-orative scheme and a three-course luncheon was served to the following guests, Messrs. and Mesdames R. A. Burch, R. A. Bateman, I. E. Jorgen-sen, Jorgen-sen, O. J. Harney, J. M. Johnson, A. L. Nilson, G. W. Brand, J. D. Meyrick, A. D. Christensen, E. L. Underhill, J. M. Boyden, J. W. Cherry, E. W. Wall, Ed Johnston, M. A. Winters, Fred Rasmussen, Mrs. R. Andersen, Mrs. Charles Eatinger, the Misses Ethel McCormick, Drusilla Meyrick, Margaret Johnson, Veneta Meyrick, Belva Johnson, Adele Meyrick, Reverend Rev-erend R. B. Norton, W. B. Crane and G. Ronald Nilson. One of the largest ana most enjoyable enjoy-able social functions of the week was the musicale given by the Home Culture Cul-ture club Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jensen. The party was also in the nature of a farewell party for the club's secretary, sec-retary, Mrs. R. A. Boirch, who expects ex-pects to leave soon for her new nome in Boise, Idaho. During the evening even-ing Wagner's opera, "Lohengrin," was played on the victrola, a brief synopsis; of the opera being read by Miss Margaret Thursman. Present were Messrs. and Mesdames Amasa Aldrich, R. Andersen, H. C. Beaumann, Beau-mann, J. W. Cherry, Rex Jensen, Ed Johnston, A. L. Nilson, Fred Rasmus, sen, O. F. Wall, Mrs. R. A.
