Show FAIRVIEW. Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Jensen arc rejoicing over the arrival of a babj boy at their home March 7th. A baby boy was welcomed at the home of James Graham March 5th. Mrs. Albert Christenson went to Springville this week to receive med-, med-, ical treatment from her brother, Dr. John R. . Anderson. Milo Miner, who has been attending attend-ing the Agricultural College at Logan, Lo-gan, returned home this week. Mrs. Jesse Turpin, who spent the past month with her daughter at Garfield, returned home last week. Ralph Collins and family, who lived hlre last winder, moved to Monroe this week. Mr. Collins was the leading mechanic at the Fair-view Fair-view service garage and made many friends here. John L. Bench and Swen O. Nelson Nel-son were Manti visitors Wednesday. Mr. andi Mrs. Wilford West of Chester visited relatives at Fairview Thursday. ' Miss Pearl Anderson of Provo is spending the week at Fairview. 'Mrs. Stena Olsen is visiting at Spanish Fork with her daughters, Miss Olena Olsen and Mrs. Loreu Anderson. The ladies, literary club met at the home of Mrs. Ellis. Coombs Mar. 11th. Social Purity was the subject of the meeting. Mrs. Hans Madsen gave the subject of proper dress. Mrs. Fred Danielson led the discussion discus-sion of the Sabbath breaking. During Dur-ing the social hour they were entertained enter-tained with music on the Silvertone. Dainty refreshments were served to ten ladies. The Relief Society will celebrate March the 17th as their annual day. A splendid program has been arranged. arrang-ed. All married people are invited to be present and help make the time a success. Swen O. Nielson has sold his business busi-ness interests in Fairview and is go-going go-going to move to Provo. He has secured a building lot on Fourth North and University avenue and is intending to build a fine modern home there. |
