Moroni Faux left last week for ah extended visit to Salt Lake. Mrs. Jack Sundrup of Ephraim is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Christensen. Theodore Christianson has returned re-turned to his home at Fountain Green after a month's stay at Moroni. Mrs. Candland of Salt Lake is visiting vis-iting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Reed Bailey. Mrs. Lon Clark of Oregon is visiting visit-ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Redman Red-man of this city. Mrs. Jane Faux Scott of Malad, Idaho, visited friends and relatives in this city Tuesday and Wednesday. trover Bradley left Monday for Salt Lake, where' he will attend the University of Utah. Ira Huggins and Russell Lund of Fountain Green are attending the high school here. Mr. Huggins is president of the student body. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Christensen, Jr., and little daughter Marguerite, spent the first part of last week in Salt Lake. An elaborate supper was given in their honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Morley. Covers were laid for about forty-five. Miss Bird Conley and Edda Sum-sion Sum-sion entertained the members of the U. B. S. O. D. H. club Tuesday "evening "even-ing at the home of Mrs. Nathan Faux. Mrs. Ferry J. Faux entertained at a family dinner Saturday in honor of her husband's birthday. Covers were laid for twelve. Vancel Morley of Moroni and Miss Stella Samuels of Fountain Green were married in the Manti Temple November 7. Mr. and Mrs. Morley will make their home in Moroni. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Peterson, Mr. P. C. Peterson Sr., Mrs. Lillian Peterson and Miss Olive Peterson, all of Ephraim, and Mrs. Henry Dahl-srud Dahl-srud of Salina were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ferry J. Faux Sunday. Mrs. I. T. Jamison and daughter Ethel of Colorado are visiting at the home of Mrs. Jamison's son, Mr. B. E. Jamison of this city. Mrs. Jamison Jami-son will visit for a while and Ethel will attend the Moroni High School this year. Miss Ophelia Monson entertained very delightfully Wednesday evening even-ing for the Misses Josie Larson, Flora Flo-ra Draper, Grace Preswich and Messrs. George J. Henry of Canada and W. M. Rhodes of Salt Lake, Ben Monson and Mrs. Janet Monson. Mrs. W. L. Irons entertained at a kensington Thursday afternoon. A dainty 4 o'clock luncheon was served to Mrs. John Blackham, Mrs. C. W. Jensen, Mrs B. L. Parker, Mrs E. L. Irons, MrsBlain Draper, Miss Ophelia Monson and Miss Van Blackham. Herman Nielson of this city re ceived notice a short time ago that he was drafted to serve in the U. S. j Army, from Salt Lake, where he reg-i istered. He left November third f or j Washington, where he will begin I military training. Mr. Nielson is the! son of Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Nielson. j Mrs. Heber Christensen entertained, Saturday in honor of her little daugh- ter Louise's eighth birthday. Deora Anderson, Ruth Bradley, Beth Bradley, Adeal and Devona Christensen, Christena and Katie Fescher and the little hostess. Mrs. B. C. Linebaugh entertained at a very attractive dinner party Tuesday afternoon at her home. Nielson entertained at a most elaborate dinner Saturday in honor of her sixty-third birthday. C. Nielson and Miss Amanda Sorenson. Most delightful was the surprise party given Wednesday evening in honor of Ray Blackham uewely elected mayor of the city.
