Show REPUBLICANS HOLD A ROUSING HUH Charles R. Mabey, Candidate for Governor for the Republican party wme to Mount P.leasant last Saturday Satur-day evening and a rally was held at tne Assembly Hall. J. C. Jordan Pretsided during the meeting. A large crowd attended the rally. The band and Ladies Quartet rendered musical selections. Mr. Suon, candidate for State Treasurer, Treas-urer, made his appearance to the People of Mount Pleasant. Mrj. Mabeyy said he hoped that Sanpete would go over the top, He referred to the promise made by democrats, 4 years ago, to do away with extravagence, and the operations of the State Land' Eoarr,. He made a personal promise to do ''at he could to pra.ie down the cf"(-o holders for the benefit of :e ta--!iyers.
