Show The regular fall conference for J Iho North Sanpete Stake was held lflSt Saturday ami Sunday nt Fair-1 Tiew with the Stake Presidency and E1(ler Anthony W. Ivans of the, Quorum of Twelve and Presiding patriarch Hyrum M. Smith in at-j tendance. Among the leading' topics discussed were Ward Social committees, Geneological Committees, Commit-tees, Temple excursions for the 1 Priesthood and living the gospel so 8s to be prepared to receive the blessings promised to the saints. The Priesthood meeting was held 1 Saturday morning. The reorganization reorgani-zation of the Stake and Ward So- j cial conimiUees and geneological : work was 'discussed. It was decid-ed decid-ed by the authorities of the stake to hold the regular sacrament meetings meet-ings at 2 o'clock p. m. in the wards i beginning the first week in October. ! It was advised that the Priesthood Priest-hood take up a systematic plan in making their excursions to the Temple. i la the afternoon Elder Anthony ' W. Ivans and Patriarch Hyrum M. Smith were the principal speakers. Bihsnn O. M. Sanderson of the 10th ward of Ogden also spoke during! this session. iSunday morning Elder Ivans spoke of the establishment of peace in the world. Patriarch Smith spoke of the responsibility of the people to live their religion in order to (receive the. blessings promised to the saints. James W. Anderson of the 9:ake Presidency also spoke during the niornirS session. The Mutual Improvement work was the main subject discussed during the meeting held Saturday eWenJng. Sunday afternoon Elder John N. Dorius, principal of the Moroni Seminary, Partriarch Hyrum M. Smith and President A. Merz were the speakers.
