Show ALL IS READY FOR HE BIG SANPETE COUNTY FAIR Manti Has Prepared a Royal Welcome To The Hosts Who Visit There Sept. 20, 21, and 22. Exhibits Promise To Be Large, Attractions Many and Interesting In-teresting and Races Fast. A delegation of the Sanpete County Coun-ty Fair Association headed by Mayor Jacobsen of Manti made a trip thru North Sanpete in the interest of the County Fair which is to be held at Manti during the week beginning Monday, September 20th. The members mem-bers of the party, including the Mayor, May-or, were Chas. Riddle, P. C. Madsen, F. L. Tuttle, Julius Pensen. C. N. Madsen, S. P. retersou, Luther Miller, Mil-ler, C. Axelson, M. D. Daley, and Roy Cox. While in Mount Pleasant Mayor Jacobsen reported Hi it all was in r-iadiness for the o r; t'c unty Fa r a d a large number of t.ople are plan-: plan-: ing their exhibits of grains, fruits, livestock and art w rk. etc. Freedom will rep-esent her disiric! villi a fine display of fruit while I'air-' I'air-' ifw is going to exh'bit her dai-y products, horses, .t r.ain, etc. "'!.'., ladies of the Literary club of Fair view are arranging tr an attnc e display of needle r-U. Three or fr u;- bi nds will take pai in the festivals j which are to be duriug the fair wiek. I The Fountain Green Hand, the Ce:i- ! terfield band and the Manti band will : be in regular attendance. There will probably be a school band also. ; While our distinguished friends from the south were in Mount Ple.is-ant Ple.is-ant they were assured that a number of the people of this city would lake part in the exhibits of the fair. Uncle Unc-le John Waldemar will tako sonic of the finest trout in the valley from his fisheries on his farm and will no doubt be awarded prizes at the fair. He will also display some of his truck gardening. John II. Seely and John K. Madsen have made arrangements to lake part in the exhibit with some of their line animals which will add much interest to the fair as a whole. Mr. Seely is known the country over lor ms oeaulitul ami well ureu c'-tle, c'-tle, sheep, swine and horses. Bishop A. E. Mcintosh will take his racehorse race-horse and compeie for prizes. Emil Hasler will exhibit sonic of bis line animals. The ladies chibs of the cily would do well to take part in art work of various kinds. Mount Pleasant hen many' people who can do things dial are praiseworthy and should be made known to (he rest of the county and slate. They need to bo toll ho.v well they can do it. Even (he men should be enthusiastic in various lines. There are but few men in Ulah in the optical business who can lit lenses and grind them as Doctor E. G. Mills of thirf cily. Very few bakers are eiiial lo our little fellow on (he corner. Where in (he valley can you find better mechanics? After all why don't we do something? Come why don't we do something?
