Show The orl;cers and teacners of the South Ward Sunday School were pleasantly entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Merz, Wednesday Wednes-day evening of last week. Ida Lar-sen Lar-sen Ida Merz, Marian Larson and A. Merz were the committee of entertainers. en-tertainers. Following the regular meeting games of .various kinds were played also some splendid music furnished and later delicious refreshments were served. In the guessing games P. M. Nie'son received re-ceived first prize and Tina Ericksen the consolation prize. Those present were: Messri and Mesdames, l to. Nielson, J. W. Anderson, James, Larson, A. Merz, Clarence Stewart, C. W. Sorensen, L. H. Robison, Mess i s, Na han Faux, C. N. Lund, Emil Kuushauser, and the Miss s Mary Peterson, Annie Johai.sen, Elma Noland, Lucie Barton, Tressie Lar.-en, Tina Erickst n, Anne Jei. .en, Marie Fiandseii, Ida Larsen, Marian Larson and Ida Merz. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Madsen win host and hostess at an elaborate dinner party at i heir hi. me Friday evening in honor of the latters binh-day. binh-day. After ihe four course 6 o'clock dinner, music and progressive High Five were the pastimes enjoyed. The firnt prize was awarded to Hairy Ericksen and the booby to C. T. Drage. A vei y plea-ant ev ning was enjoyed -by the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. 0. T. Drage, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Johnson, Harry Ericksen and Pearly Johnson, Mrs. Lydia T. Winters, Mrs. R. A. Broadhurst, Tressa Larson and the host and hostess. Mrs. J. F. Jensen entertained the 20" Century Club at a delightful aucrnoon. Miss Johanson gave the interesting lecture on Naples an Italy. Mrs: Fannie Miles was elec-a elec-a member of the club. After trans acting the usual business the hostess host-ess served a delicious luncheon to the fifteen members and guests. Miss Carol Jensen gave a Washington Wash-ington Party on Sat urday evening in honor of the Freshman Class of the Wasatch Academy. The evening eve-ning wai spent in music and gam"s, daint favors and place cards of hatchet- were' given the guests and decorations of the National colors adorned the parlors. Mr. Norman and Miss Shew were awarded first honors in a progressive game. The following enjoyed the supper; the hostess, Misses Berni Mangum, Cl.rystal Jensen, Daisy Wright, Freda Burr.eile, lima Christian, Nettie Beauman, Eula Kuans, Aleria Renberg, Edi h Shew, Blanche Ring Messrs, Spencer and Clinton Webb, Eliot Airmet. Alonzo Knudsen, Pat Barrette, Frank Hurst, Ralph Norman, Nor-man, Clair Christian, Marius Jensen, j Kenneth Bradley. Miss Ruth Candland entertained the G. L. G. Ctub at her home last Friday afternoon. Delicious refreshments re-freshments were served and the afternoon was spent in sewing. Those present were Misses Veda Jensen. Jen-sen. Vanza Neil.-on.
