Show r sr- , Moroni I ! 'I Last Friday night a basket ball game was played between Fairview and Moroni teams, resulting in a victory for the latter by a score of twenty-four to twenty-six. On Tuesday last the west branch of the D. & R. G. was ditched in Nephi canyon in a snow drift. John Bennett of Holden has been a guest of M r. and Mrs. Alma Black-ham. Black-ham. M, C. Draper left for Nevada last Mo nday. Mr, and Mrs, Arthur Storylef t for Idaho Monday. Mrs. H, S, Ollerton went to Nephi Monday to visit her parents. Anyone that is doubtful on the size ot and shape of coops for the poultry show, can see a model at the Co-op store. Last week the thermometer registered regis-tered 16 below. A jolly crowd of about twenty married people of Fieedom gave a series of card parties during the ho1-idays ho1-idays at the following homes: Vasco Taylor, Elmer Simonsen, Samuel Gee and Joseph H. Draper, delicious refreshments re-freshments were served. Last Friday the single men were pitted against the married men in a rabbit hunt for a dance and. supper. The poor married men receiving the worst of it to the tune of 45 to 63. |
