CHRISTMAS DAY ! WELLOBSERVED Christmas was celebrated by the people of Mount Pleasant in a very appropriate manner. There were three entertainments given by the churches. The South Ward Sunday School give a Christmas progratu .nd entei taiunient on Christmas Eve at the South Ward Chapel Santa Claus was present and made pleasure .for the little folks. The North Ward Sunday School gave a ChriHtmas program Sunday morning. The children were filled with the spirit of the occasion and took the main part in the program. . Santa Claus was present and told of his many pleasant travels and his love for children. He told them that if they would be good all this year he would come again next Christmas. He gave his greeting to about four hundred of the little folks and sent them home rejoicing. The choir of the Presbyterian Church gave a Christmas cantata at the Wasatch Academy Assembly Hall Sunday evening. The singing was beautiful and many of the music lov-; erss were present and enjoyed the entertainment.
