Show IVizanTdf Wasatch Pre-'' Pre-'' paring For Great Carnival Hat-Urn-Ai, the mighty Wiza-u of the Wasatch, having notified Irs Wards that he will again uait his , ch.ef city, the buisness men of Salt ' Lake City, through their wards of the Wizard of the Wasatch organization, are preparing a stupendous 'esine carnival in honor of the Vi.anl -"d , his consort Sirrah, Queen of the Oquirrh. Auggust 25 to 20, inclusive, inclu-sive, are the dates, and for the occasion oc-casion special low fares will bo effect on all railroads from a wide radius. ra-dius. Gorgeous electrical pageant-parades, pageant-parades, military, fraternal, industrial indus-trial and civic parades, and automobile automo-bile floral parades, will be the free feature attractions. Elaborate and costly street illumination and decorations decor-ations have been planned, militar bands from Utah and Idaho cities have been engaged, and the big carnival car-nival show will be the Wizards Roundup, in which men and women of international fame will present t he-acme he-acme of equestrian accomplishment, employing fiery, wild horses and thr-most thr-most notorious "outlaw" bucket's ol the West. The carnival is financed by the business men of Salt Lake Cit; and is held annually for the purpose of stimulating a better feeling toward Utah by the outside world. U is promised that the affair of 1914 will place Salt Lake City in front of cities nationally prominent for their festive occasions. |
