Show Mrs. Fred RaBmussen entertained with an informal luncheon Tuesday afternoon in honor of her birthday anniversary. Her guests Included Mesdames Ed Johnston.- E. W. Wall. R. A. Burch, E. C. Johnson, George Clemensen. D. R. Lamb. J. D. Meyrick Mey-rick and Miss Esther Malmsten. At the recent County Fair held at Mantl John K. Madsen had a number num-ber of rams on show and took first, second and third prizes In the yearling year-ling class. He also took second In those of the yearlings and over being second to Seely'a $1000 ram which was first ln that class. W. J. Henderson and his three sons of Canrionvllle were ln Mount Pleasant this week en route to their home with seventeen head of fine Holstein cattle which they purchased purchas-ed at the State Fair. While here they purchased four more from Wm. Osborne of Spring City, all reglatered anlmuls. Mr. Henderson has a large cattlo ranch at Johnsvalley and believes be-lieves that the blooded animals will be u big addition to his large herd. |
