Friday evening a dance was given ut the pavilion for our1 departing missionary, Ituth Lund. Abbe Madaen of Moroni and MIhs Geneva Hansen were married October Octo-ber 4. Their friends Join 'In wishing the newly weds much happiness. A shower was given Tuesday evening even-ing at the home of Mrs. (leorgn Jackson Jack-son for Mrs. Ethel D. Jackson, a bride of tho past week. Newell Johnson, son of Frank Johnson, while playing with some other children, fell ofl ir foneo and broke his right arm. He Is under Dr. Llnebuugh's care and 1b Improving Improv-ing nicely. Evan Aiken of Spring- City anil Miss Ruth Lund were married nt tho Suit Lake Temple last Wednesday and Miss Lund left for a mission to the Hawaiian Islands Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Allrod enter, tallied tho members of the school faculty and their wives nt the school house Tuesday. Refreshments were served nnd an enjoyable nrternoon spent. I The officers and teachers of the j Relief Society gave n party for Mrs. I S. L. Longson last Monday afternoon. Mrs. Longson hus worked faithfully many years and will soon leave with her daughter Jennie, for Brlghnm City, where she has erected a flue new home. |
