Show Wesft Bffl. Mary Ellen and Bob Smith have been spending time at the home of parents, the . Frank Smiths of Bountiful and the Dan Mitchells of West Bountiful, as they try to get settled in a new home. They sold their home in Logan Avenue in Salt Lake City. Children, Tanya and Danny, have had fun being spoiled at the homes of grandparents, while parents have been taking care of weightier matters. The Alton Comias had as their guests Mary's son and wife and family, the Rex Murphys of Seattle, Washine-ton. Washine-ton. Paul Buys and wife and baby have enjoyed visiting at the home of the Paul Buys Sr. The week was made more enjoyable for tiny Julie Marx as she celebrated her 3rd birthday, with a party. Guests, Corey Wilde, Debby and Becky Southwick, Alma Miller, and Jill Bangerter, had fun, especially with "horsie rides" by Chuck Evans. The date of August 16 is being looked forward to by many. This will be the date of the Mothers and Daughters' County Fair for the Bountiful West Stake. Kathy Eggett, of the 2nd Ward and other representatives representa-tives from the other wards, are working hard to make it a success. The Mia Maids of the 2nd Ward, under the direction of teacher, Kathy Black, had a night of sharing the past week. The girls are always doing great things, like working in the various organizations, or-ganizations, cooking, and sewing. Clare Samuelson and Dan-na Dan-na Mitchell have been working to make the Primary closing program a success. All of the children sang songs of the seasons and remembering remem-bering their fun song sessions of the year. Sheila Bangerter McSwain and Rosemary Music also assisted, as-sisted, right along with the Primary Presidency, Betty Jean Salmon, Vickie Broderick, and Celia Belcher. |
