Hyrum Jacksen went to Salt Lake Friday on account of the illness of his brother. Mr. Lund of Nephi was in Moroni last week buying cattle and contracting contract-ing for sheep. Mythel Blackham wentto Salt Lake Friday to visit wkh relatives. Mrs. Brigham Neilsen came home Monday from Salt Lake. Louis Fugal was in Moroni this week. Richard Parmaid of Fountain Green was a visitor of Hannah Olsen Friday and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Metcalf of Manti were visiting with Mrs. Fanny Mor-ley Mor-ley the latter part of the week. Thursday evening twenty-five couples surprised Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Larsen. The eighth grade of the public school gave a dancing party at the pavilion Fiiday evening, an enjoyable enjoya-ble time was had. Mrs. Watson and Miss Allred of Spring City were visiting with the Mutuals here Sunday night. Tuesday evening Mrs. Carlina Draper Dra-per entertained a number of her friends in honor of her twenty-ninth birthday. There are three cases of small-pox in Moroni. |
