Show Council Decides Upon A Pang Engineer The City Council met in an adjourned ad-journed session last Monday evening at the Social Hall. The meeting was held there on accoint of repair work going on nt the City Hall where new shingle are being put on the hull 1 Ing and the interior is being reinodle, Into a beautiful meeting place for the council. There were present at the meeting Mauir Daniel Kasniussen. Recorder Arthur O. Neils;in, Council, men A. K. Mcintosh. Andrew Larsen and Nils Larsen. The principal matters of impert-nnce impert-nnce discussed were bids received by the council for the paving to be done in Sidewalk paving district No. S and Curbing District No. 1. Bids from Kenneth Borg of Mount Pleasant. John L. Bench of Fairview. Caldwell & Richards of Salt Lake City and R. M. Greaves of Ephraim were discussed. dis-cussed. After due consideration it was derided by the council to employ It. M. Greaves at a saiary of $16i per month to engineer the work during dur-ing the course of construction. Mayor Rasmussen submitted the following names to serve as members of the Mt. Pleasant Public Library Board' For six year term. J. W. An-deson An-deson and H. Le Roy Xeilson: for fot'r veir term Mrs. J. W. Cherry and Mrs II. C. Jacobs: for two year term C. N Lund and Mrs. O. N. Clemensen. Clem-ensen. The council approved of the recommendation and the Library Board was dulv appointed. The City Council leased Ifiil acres of grazing land near the electric power pow-er plant to Andrew Larsen to he used for grazing purposes during the summer. |
