Miss Grace Pritchett who has spent the past year in Ogden is visiting relatives rel-atives and friends in Fairview. Mrs. Sam Park of Blackfoot, Idaho, Ida-ho, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. P. L. Nordstrom. Miss Junny Anderson of Mount Pleasant is the guest of Miss Sarah Stewart. j Miss Sophronia Olsen went to Pro-vo Pro-vo Sunday. She will probably attend ' school there the remainder of the .year. The Home Dramatic company will present the Melodrama "Because I Love You" Thursday evening Feb. 11th for the mutuals. j Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Terry, Jr., I and Mrs. Charles Terry, Sr., of Provo are visiting relatives and friends at Fairview. Miss Izelta Miner who spent th' Past week with her parents, returnet to her studies at the B. Y. U. Wednesday. Wednes-day. Bruce Cox went to Moab last week to operate the electric plant, owned and installed by J. W. Christensen Ncphi Cruser, and others at that i place. Mervin Brady, son of Elias Brady, left Feb. 7th, for a mission to the : Northwestern states, and Lionel Petersen, Pe-tersen, son of Lewis Petersen, left Feb. 8th, for a mission to the Northern North-ern states. They departed from Salt Lake City on Wednesday the 10th. On Feb. 5th a number of friends and relatives of Mrs. Ed. Bench gave' her a surprise party. The evening was spent in games and music. Re freshments were se; '6Q. me p'.:ri. 'was given in honor of Mrs. Bench's birthday. One of the social events of the week was the party given at the home of Miss Helen Christensen in honor of Lionel Peterson. Games, music and dancing were the feature of the evening. Dainty refreshments were served. The social event of the week was a party given at the Pavillion by the Y. L. M. I. A. It commenced at l;'ij and closed at 11:30. An excellent program was given after which the evening was spent in games, music j and dancing, and a general good time. Refreshments were served to three hundred and twenty five persons. per-sons. ' The Annual clay celebrated by the Relief Society Feb. 6lh was a success in every way. The weather was fine and most everybody was able to be out. A good program was given at the forenoon meeting. At 12:30 ail went to the Pavilion. After a general gener-al "handshake, dinner was served to more than three hundred and fifty people. The old people were seated 'at the table while the others were servd in caffeteria style. The alt. , noon was spent in a social way. a good pror.ram of toasts, music. sengs and speeches helped to pass the time away. In the evening a dance concluded con-cluded the day.
