Show SPRING CITY Erron Brough arrived home Monday Mon-day after having spent about five months away working. Andrew Madsen, Simon T. Beck. J. M. Johnson and James Clawson are nmong the business visitors in Salt Lake this week. Evan L. Aiken arrived home Saturday Sat-urday after having spent two years in the mission field for the Mormon church, part of the time being spent in Holland, after the war broke out he was transferred to the United States, laboring most of the time in Michigan and Illinois. Aero Aiken arrived home the later part of the week after several months spent in Castle A'alley feeding stock. The boys of the fifth grade of the primary have made a number of very nice flags which they are presenting to the deeendants of the Mormon Battalion, the boys, numbering tven-tv-ore. called at the home of Mrs. Jennette Anderson and presented her with one of the flags the fore part of the week. Mrs. Anderson was very delighted to be so honored, the work is under the direction of President Mrs. Jennette Baxter. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Aldrich of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. A. Aid-rich Aid-rich of Mt. Pleasant were visitors in Spring City Sunday. The M. C. U. C. ladles met at the home of Mrs. Fred Strate Friday, the regular club work taking up the time, refreshments were served., The Alothea club met at the home of Mrs. Albert Allred Friday, March 10. A4 very interesting lecture on better bnbies was given by Mrs. K. A. RUlin-ton. A solo was rendered by Mrs. Olca Black afte- which the club adjourned to meet Friday evening. March 17, at the home of Mrs. J. M. Johnson where a St. Patrick's Party will be given. Mr. and Airs. H. C. Hermansen were the recipients of a very pleasant pleas-ant purpose Saturday evening, th.e 11th. by about fifteen of their friends A very pleasant evening was enjoyed by all present. |
