Show The people of ;Sanpete haven't forgotten for-gotten the treatment accorded them by Governor Spry in his appointment appoint-ment of State officers in this county. Every appointee in Sanpate is a boss, a place hunter, or a henchman of the Spry bunch. There is no use talking Spry to the voters of Sanpete. San-pete. They don't want Spry. They know full well that a vote for Spry is a vote for Candland and a continuation contin-uation of ring rule in the county. Yes; the paramount issue this year has been maie by the people themselves. them-selves. The bosses must be ousted. Ring rule in the County, State and Nation must be destroyed. The people peo-ple have determined upon this issue and the efforts of Republican office holders and Republican office seekers seek-ers to blind the voters to the real issue will prove futile. The price of pigs, hay, or butter in 1893 is not the issue in 1912. The issue declared by the people is "A Thorough Political Politi-cal House-Cleaning," and Tuesday, November 5th, is the day set to do the work. Swan Song: The Republican party is singi g its Swan Song in the Nation, the State, and the County. Nothing can save it from ignominious defeat on November 5th. The American people are demanding reforms in government that the G. O. P. can not, or will not brinK about. The Republican party sees the handwriting on the wall and is resorting, re-sorting, as a last hope, to the effort of f lightening the voters with the thread bare cry of "Soup House." It is no use. The 'American voters will not scare. They simply will not lose sight of the paramount issue "a thorough and complete Political House Cleaning." Hon. John F. Tolton Hon. John F. People everywhere every-where were favorably impressed by his clear cut exposition of the issues and his straightforward declaration of policies that will be adopted and reforms that will be inaugurated in the State when the Democrats have |
