All residents of the area are in- ;vited to join in the fun. : THE SCHEDULE of events includes: an old-fashioned chicakoree (with a menu of " potatoes, chicken, corn on the cob, and root beer) held at the West Bountiful Bowery, sponsored spon-sored by the Elders Quorum, and beginning at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, July 2. ; A street dance, beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July : THE PAGEANT, "Heritage Highlights," beginning at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3. (Lots of food and refreshments refresh-ments to be sold before the performance). This will be held on the parking lot at the West Bountiful Ward. Spectators Specta-tors are asked to bring quilts and chairs for the occasion. Flag raising ceremony, 7 a.m. July 4 on the lawn in front of the City Hall. CHUCK WAGON Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Menu, sausage, eggs, hot cakes, milk or juice. Sponsored by the West Bountiful Third Ward. Parade: 10:30 a.m. 12:00 NOON and during the remainder of the day Carnival behind the School. Sky Diving, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. PAGEANT, 8:30 p.m. (food sold before the performance). Residents and former residents of West Bountiful are invited to enter floats and other entries in the parade. Those desiring to do so, should contact Eric Eastman, chairman, am West Bountiful will bridge the generation gap in its Fourth of July celebration pageant. Frank Hatch, seated left, a native of the town and resident for 75 years, his daughter Beverly Hill, seated right, also a native of the town, and her daughter Sheralynn, are stars in the pageant. Getting into the spirit of the vent are standing, 1 to r, Lue Child, Mayor Jerry Thompson and Jeri Stout. |
