Show FAIRVIEW Miss Lydia Titcomb was operated upon at the Winters Hospital last week, for appendicitis. Miss Irene Cruser entertained eighteen of her friends Monday evening even-ing in honor of her birthday. The evening was spent in music and games. Delicious refreshments were served. Another crowd went on the mountains moun-tains this week. Merlin Madsen, Hugh Brady, Harold Cox, Evan Cox, Clifton Anderson, Loren Hamilton Heber Mower and Misses Lucile Petersen, Pet-ersen, Flossie Anderson, Rowena Day, Verda Cheney, Mamie Madsen, Stella Pherson and Ethel Stewart. The Ladies Literary club was entertained en-tertained at a kensington at the home of. Mrs. Clias. Peacock, Wednesday July 3 0th. A pleasant afternoon was spent. On Wednesday Aug. 5, the literary club members and their children went to Dave Carlston's farm southeast of Fairview for an outing. They went in two hay racks, and took their lunch baskets.
