Mrs. Myrtle Mullens of Salt Lake is visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Samuel Dlackhara. Mrs. P. C. Christensen has gone to Los Angeles, California, where she will visit with relatives. Mrs. Abner Anderson of Moroni has gone to Salt Lake to remain for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. John Warner nave returned re-turned to Idaho Falls after a short visit with relatives. Mrs. Nathan Faux and Caroline Lauritzeu are Centerfleld visitors this week. Mrs. Jane Armstrong, who has been visiting with relatives In this city for the past several weeks,, has returned to her home at Salt Lake. Miss Daisy Beal of Ephraim returned re-turned to her home on Saturday after af-ter a week's visit with Mrs. Edgar Bradley. Ferry Neilson has returned to his home after spending several weeks at the Winters hospital at Mount Pleasant. Pleas-ant. The party given by the Mutual Improvement Association on Thursday Thurs-day evening was enjoyed by many of the ward people. A large crowd enjoyed the Home Economic Association meeting which was' held in the High School building on Wednesday night. Mrs. Owen Beal was in charge of the program. A violin duet was given by Darricl Christensen and Mozel Hanson. Miss Birdie Lamb gave a talk on "The Value of Books in the Home." Miss Ophelia Monsen gave a piano solo. Miss Alice Morrison gave a talk on "Food and its Uses to the Body." The meeting adjourned, following refreshments, refresh-ments, to meet on November 17th. |
