The new commander of the Salvation Salva-tion Army, Gen. Bramwell Booth, is a big man physically and mentally. He stands over six feet high and is of military carriage. A British cabinet cabi-net minister once said of him that he- would be worth $50,000 a year to any of the great English administrative administra-tive departments, and that he could have made millions in the business world. He now follows his illustrious father in supreme command of the International In-ternational Salvation Army, with more than 75,000 officers preaching and teaching, and rescuing the fallen in fifty-five countries. |
