Show Fairview Nancy Miner Is Buried Monday Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Nan-cy Rebecca Brady Miner, 73, of Fairview, who died Feb. 19 at a Salt Lake hospital of cerebral hemorrhage, were conducted Monday in the South Ward chapel cha-pel by Bishop Otis Neilson. Program was as follows: Song by the choir; prayer, Don Miner; vocal solo, J. Edwin Miner, ac-aceompanied ac-aceompanied by Ellis Madsen; address, Bishop Heber L. Mower; Following a talk given by Pres. Golden Carlston, Mrs. Ida Bills and Mrs. Ellen Peterson sang a duet, accompanied by Mrs. Ellis Vance. Rodney Nelson was the concluding speaker; song by the choir and benediction by Allie L. Carlston. Burial was in the Fairview city cemetery under the direction of Jacobs mortuary. The graveside dedication was offered by Bishop Henry Jones. Mrs. Miner was born Jan. 4, 1S75, in Fairview, a daughter of j L. A. and Rebecca Brady. She ' was married to Orson A.' Miner Nov. 19, 1S94 in the Manti Temple. Tem-ple. ! A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mrs. Miner was Relief society president for 3 years and served on the Relief society welfare program. She was a visiting teacher for about 20 years. The vice president of the company reported on the general business, and a member of the Salt Lake Board of Health was present. Those in attendance were shown a movie, served refreshments re-freshments and given prizes. " Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Briggs are happy to announce the birth of a granddaughter, Feb. 17. Thurs-day. The occasion was Mrs. Nelson's Nel-son's birthday anniversary. " The Junior High gym was the scene of a dance review presented pres-ented by the elementary school. The faculty directed the proceedings pro-ceedings and all children from grades 1 to 6 participated. The children were all costumed suitably for the dances executed. Among the dances were the minuet, min-uet, Chicago glide, Hot Tme in the Old Town Tonight and Over the Ocean Waves. - Fairview continued Mr. and Mrs. Max Mangum and family of Salt Lake were visitors Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Peterson. Mrs. Mangum was Norma Peterson before her manage. Norma Bills, daughter of Mrs. Erma Bills, returned from Salt Lake several days ago and is staying with Mrs. Phlinda Tur-pin Tur-pin while she attends school here for the remainder of the year. Mrs. Lucy Tucker was hostess to her sewing club Wednesday atfemoon and served them a hot luncheon. Mrs. Edda S. Graham Mrs. Sarah Rigby, Mrs. Lucille Madsen. Mrs. Arminta Clement. Mrs. Marcel le Graham, Mrs. lone Rigby, Mrs. Dora Rigby, Mrs. Hortense Hansen and Mrs. Ethel Mower were guests. ... Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Tucker and special guests of their daughter, Cherril, were Miss Carolyn Jensen, daughter of Arnold Jensen, originally of Fair-view, Fair-view, and Miss Marlene Riddle of Salt Lake city. Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Alton Christensen and daughters, Fawn and Beth, and Miss Pete Mac-Neal Mac-Neal of Salt Lake left on a trip to Zions National Park, Hoover Dam. and Las Vegas.
