Show Mrs. Rhoda M. 0. Bohne Dies at Payson Hospital Mrs. Rhoda Mae Olson Bohne. 46, wife of Ervin F. Bohne, well known teacher of the Nebo district, dis-trict, died at a Payson hospital Monday evening at 6:30 o'clock after an illness of several months. She was born Oct. 20, 1898, at Moroni, a daughter of Olaf and Sena Olson. The family moved to Mt. Pleasant, where she attended at-tended the public schools. She attended Brigham Young university uni-versity at Provo. She was always prominent in the work of the MIA and was a member of the stake board at Richfield, She taguht school two years at Nephi, one year at Mt. Pleasant and one year at Indianola. She was married to Mr. Bohne Oct. 24, 1921; they made their home m Mt. Pleasant until 1926, when they moved to Logan for one year. In 1927 Mr. Bohne became identified with the Nebo district where he had taught in the junior high school. Mrs. Bohne taught the past two years in the elementary grades of Spanish Fork. She had been especially active in Primary work while here and was a member of the Palmyra L D S stake Primary board. A talented singer, she was much in demand to sing at public functions. She is survived by her husband; hus-band; one son and daughter, Capt. Robert Ervin Bohne, stationed sta-tioned at Atlanta, Ga., now home on furlough; Miss Bessie Mae Bohne, Spanish Fork; four brothers, broth-ers, Ira Olson, Ferron; Ray, Owen and Lorin Olson, and her mother, Mrs. Sena Olson, all of Mt. Pleasant, Pleas-ant, and one sister, Mrs. Eunice Larsen of Emery. Funeral services for Mrs. Bohne will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. at the L D S First ward chapel by J. Victor Leifson, bishop. |
