Larsen at Ephraim. Tne Alethea Club members were entertained Thursday at the home of Mrs. Lorna Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Morley c f Salt Lake C ty visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Orvill Peder-son. Peder-son. They also attended funeral evices Monday for T. Kimball Thompson at Ephraim. Mrs. Olga Black was hostess at a dinner party Sunday for the members of the Alethea Club and their partners. Mrs. Geneva H. Justesen gave a party for a number of relatives and friends January 26th in commemoration com-memoration of the one hundredth i.-ii'tliday anniversary of her mother, Ann El za V. Hyde. Mrs. rlde was born January 2ti, 1841 on Big Neck Prairie, Illinois. She came with her parents to Utah in 18-i'J, living in Bountiful where she met the late Apostle Orson Hyde. They were married .n the Endowment House in Salt Lake City in 1B57. She lived lor a tune in Salt Lake City and in I0t2 went to Spring City where she lived until her death. May 4. 1.-23. She was the mother of six ch ldren. only two of whom are still living, Mrs. Geneva Hyde Justesen of Spring City, and Joseph Hyde of Phoenix. Arizona. The various clubs of Spring City held a dancing party Monday Mon-day evening in the Victory Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Draper left Wednesday for their home at Grants Pass, Oregon, after a -three weeks visit here with Mrs. Haiena Bunnell and other relatives rela-tives in Spring City and Mount Pieasant. On their return trip they will visit in Provo, Bingham, Salt Lake City and Reno, Neva- ; i a. They were accompanied to Provo by Mrs. Haiena Bunnell ' who will visit there with he' ' daughter Mrs. Wyroa Hansen and : hoi children. |
