Show Marriage Announced I The marriage of Miss Barbara Anne Rasmussen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rasmussen to Warren L. Blair, Pfc. of the U. S. Marine Corps was solemnized Saturday evening, May-27Lh at six o'clock in the Calvary Presbyterian Pres-byterian church in San Francisco. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Ezra Van Nuys before an alter banked with white snap dragons. The bride, who was given in marriage by her mother, was attended by her sister, Miss Mary Margaret Rasmussen as maid of honor. Pfc. Joseph Henri Rogers of San Francisco was best man. The bride's suit was of citron green garbardine with pink accessories ac-cessories and her bouquet was of white orchids, gardenias and lilies of the valley. The maid of honor wore a suit of gold garbardine garbar-dine with matching hat and accessories. ac-cessories. Her corsage was of white stephanottis and gardenias. garden-ias. Music preceding the ceremony included an organ prelude, "I Love You Truly" and a vocal solo, "O Promise Me," and the wedding party entered the church to the strains of Lohengrens Wedding March. A dinner for twenty five guests at the Hotel Stewart followed the ceremony. The bride is a graduate of Wasatch Wa-satch Academy and a former student of Westminster College and Utah State Agricultural College. Col-lege. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Blair of Quitman, Mississippi, and a former student of the law school at the University Univer-sity of Mississippi. He has served three years in the U. S. Marine Corps and saw 17 months active service in Wallis Island, South Pacific. Mr. and Mrs. Blair are making their home for the present at 596 Page Street, San Francisco, California. |
