Elwood Hansen Han-sen have announced the arrival of a baby girl born May 25th at the Madsen hospital in Mount Pleasant. The mother was formerly for-merly Miss Irene Anderson of Fountain Green. Funeral Services Held For Niels Hansen Friday, May 26 Funeral services for Niesl Hansen, Han-sen, 86, were conducted in the ward chapel Friday, May 26th at 2 p. m. with Bishop Gayle Yorga-son Yorga-son officiating. The ward choir, under the direction di-rection of chorister Eva Jacobsen, sang, "Resting Now From Care and Sorrow," "Israel, Israel, God Is Calling," and "Lead Me Gently Home." The speakers were Patriarch Patri-arch Urvin Gee of Moroni, Pres. Thomas H. Cook of Fountain Green and C. W. Sorensen of Mt. Pleasant. Prayers were offered by James L. Nielson and William Collard. Interment was in the Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant cemetery where the grave side prayer was offered by Frank Hansen of Moroni. Burial was under the direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. Boatswain Mate lc Duane V. Anderson-Ethel C. Doherty Wedding Wedding took place on May 27, 1944 at 7:00 p. m. at the Catheral of the Madaline in Salt Lake City. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Frederick J.; Pilloran. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Doherty of Boston, Massachusetts, and is a graduate of Boston University. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Anderson of Fountain Green and is a Boatswain's Mate 1st class in the United States Navy. He has been in the Navy for the past six and one-half years and recently re-cently returned from sixteen months active service in the South Pacific, having seventeen major naval actions to his credit. Among those present at the ceremony were the bridegroom's mother, Mrs. A. A. Anderson, his grandfather, A. P. Anderson, and bis sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Gholson of Salt Lake City, after which the wedding wed-ding supper took place in the Empire Room of the Hotel Utah. The couple expect to leave for the West coast after a short visit in both Fountain Green and Salt Lake City. Corporal Darryl Hansen, now stationed at Camp Roberts, Calif., is spending his furlough with his parents, Mr: -and Mrs. Alfred Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. N. M. Jensen had as their guests on Memorial Day Mr. and Mrs. George E. Collard of Provo and Mrs. Agatha Johnson and children of Heber City. Mrs. Berlha Christiansen is visiting with her children in Salt Lake City and McBill, Nevada. Mrs. Newel Johnson and daughters daugh-ters and Mrs. Rachel Aagard of Provo visited Tuesday in Fountain Foun-tain Green. Mrs. Mont Neilson of McGill, Nevada is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. Edward Neil-son. Neil-son. Mr. Adrain Warner and family of Coalville, Utah are visiting with relatives. The Misses Joyce Rasmussen and Joyce Coulsen are spending their vacation in Salt Lake City.
