Show Lassen and Norman Will Introduce New Ford Truck At Friday Open House The first public showing in Mt. Pleasant of the new 1948 model Ford trucks will take place Jan. 16 at an "open house" to be conducted by Lasson and Norman Auto -Company, 96 South State. With the streamlined new trucks the first post-war products pro-ducts of the Ford Motor Compa-i Compa-i ny as the main attraction, Lasson and Norman will welcome wel-come the public to its showrooms, show-rooms, service, parts and ac-I ac-I cessory and used vehicle departments, de-partments, according to Ted Lasson and Reeve Norman, owners. The two Ford men said the .Open House program will begin be-gin next Friday at 3 p. m. at the company's show rooms and will continue until 6 p. m. Refreshments Refresh-ments will be served. I "We arranged an 'open house' program for public announcement announce-ment of the 1948 truck line be ' cause we feel that this is the 'most important new truck showing in Ford history," Lasson Las-son and Norman said. "We are entering the greatest truck market mar-ket of all time with the widest range of models and capacities Ford has ever produced. We expect to receive trucks during the coming months in quantities quanti-ties increased sufficiently to permit us to meet the heavy : demand." |
