Show Fanners of County Plant Many Trees State Books Show Sanpete County farmers have shown an increasing interest in iar.n tree planting during the K years' operation of the Clarke-McNary Clarke-McNary tree planting program, J. Whitaey Floyd, extension forester for-ester of the Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural College announced alter mx-.'ng a compdation of the fanners cooperation during 1940. Fifteen farmers planted 33Uo trtes on Sanpete county farms during the 1940 tree planting seawa. This makes a total of 18.424 trees that have been distributed dis-tributed to Sanpe'c Coun'y Turners Turn-ers during the 11-year program.
