Show j FOUNTAIN GREEN j I By Special Correspondence Mr. Andrew Mikkelson and family of Salt Lake City visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Anderson. Lorian Mikkelson and Lois Ivory,- udents at the USAC t Logan, spti t Saturday and S'jn-dayy S'jn-dayy in Fountain Green. Mrs. Clarence Oldroyd entertained enter-tained the Stitch and Chat Club members at her home Monday afternoon. The time was spent in sewing after which luncheon was served to ten members. Mrs. Ora Peterson was hostess host-ess to ten members of the Arnica club at her home Thursday evening. eve-ning. Luoheon was served and :he remainder of the evening was spent in playing games. Eighteen guests were present at the Valentine party given by Mrs. James Johnson at her home. The party was in honor of the outgoing officers of the Stitch and Chat Club. They are, Mrs. Elmer Holman, Mrs. Amy Samuels Sam-uels and Mrs. Olof Olson. Mrs. Melba Guymon and Mrs. Gladys Hansen were hostesses to the Arnica Club members and their partners at the home of Mrs. Guymon. A Valentine motif was oarried out with small baskets bas-kets of Valentine candies as favors. fav-ors. After a hot supper was served the remainder of the time was spent in playing 500. Mrs. Isabel Merriam of Manti is visiting at the home of her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Lillie Robertson. A musical program, under the direction of James Jameson, music mu-sic director at the Moroni high school was enjoyed by a large attendance at the M. I. A. meeting meet-ing Tuesday evening. Air. and Mrs. Joseph Verburg and daughter Darlene of Denver, enioute to their new home in Los Angeles, visited during the week with Mrs. Verburg's father, Carl Anderson, a sister, Mrs. Alverda Llewellyn and a bother, Arthur Anderson. Mrs. Elna Nielson was hostess to the Klever Kraft club members mem-bers at her home Thursday evening. eve-ning. The Literary club members were entertained at the home of Mrs. Lillie Robertson Friday, February 15. A delicious hot dinner was served after which a short program was presented. Mrs. Ruth Larson was hostess to her club members and two special guests Saturday afternoon at her home. Max Alma Livingston and Ellis Coilin Green, draftees from Fountain Foun-tain Green, will leave February 26. A party in their honor will ue held Saturday evening in the Amusement Hall. We are very proud of these fine young men and we all wish them well. The Stitch and Chat Club members mem-bers were guests at the home of Mrs. Clarence Johnson Saturday ailernoon at her home. The dinner din-ner was in honor of Mrs. Johnson John-son s birthday anniversary. Sunday afternoon the Literary Club members and their husbands hus-bands motored to Manti where they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smyth, former residents of Fountain Green. |
