Show Funeral Held For Royal Ivory Funeral services for L. Royal Ivory were conducted Sunday, I January 14th in the Fountain ;ec:i ward chapel with Bishop Gayle Yorgason officiating. The ward choir, under the direction of Mrs. Eva Jacobsen, sang, "The Upper Garden," with Mrs. Olena Johnson and Jenna Anderson as soloists. Mrs. Maureen Sanders Halt Lake City sang the solo, "Light Divine." A string Trio form the B. Y. U. of Provo furnished fur-nished three selections. Mrs. Velda Jacobson and Jesse Oldroyd Old-royd sang, "In The Garden," ac-ompanist ac-ompanist for both numbers was M- Voneal Aagard. The speakers were Daniel Ras-mussen Ras-mussen of Mt. Pleasant and Jos. R. Christiansen and James L. Nielson of Fountain Green. Prayers were offered by Irvin P. Oldroyd and President Dermont Der-mont Madsen. Interment was in the City cemetery, cem-etery, under the direction of the Jacobs Mortuary of Mt. Pleasant. The graveside prayer was offered of-fered bv O. V. Anderson of Mount Pleasant. L. Royal Ivory, 54, was a life-'ong life-'ong resident of Fountain Green. He was born March 5, 1S90 and he married Ruby Madsen of Mount Pleasant in 1919 in the Manti temple. Bisides his widow he is survived sur-vived by two daughters, Mrs. Lois Ivory Hansen, Tooele, Utah; and Mrs. Hanna Wetmore, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren, grandchil-dren, ten brothers and sisters, Eugene, Muriel, Stanley and Clark Ivory of Fountain Green, Leonard Ivory, Beverley Hills, California; Ross Ivory, Payson, ntah: Reuben Ivory, Mrs. Ella J. Livingstn, Mrs. Geneva I. Oldroyd Old-royd and Mrs. Donna I. McDonald, McDon-ald, all of Salt Lake City. |
