Show I FOUNTAIN GREEN j I By Special Correspondence I Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Caroline M. Hansen Funeral services for Mrs. Caro-hP Caro-hP Hnsen Bough, 82, were held Tuesday, July 2nd in the ward chapel with Bishop Scott Look conducting. A prelude was rendered bv Mrs. Verda A. Lund. The choir, under the direction of chorister Mrs. Eva Jacobsen, san "O My Father," and "Eternity," with Mrs. Verda A. Lund accompanist. Prayers were offered by Joseph Anderson of Fountain Green and VVillard Oldroyd of Venice, Utah. Speakers were Ivan Bailey, Jas L. Neilson, N. E. Mikkelson and Bishop Scott Cook. A Saxophone duet, "Cast Thy Bread Upon The Waters," was rendered' by Lyn-wood Lyn-wood and Gayle Rasmussen, with Pauline Madsen accompanist. A vocal duet, "Going Home," was sung by Mrs. Velda Jacobsen and Jesse Oldroyd. Postlude was rendered ren-dered by Mrs. Verda A. Lund. Interment was in the Fountain Green City cemetery, under the direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. The graveside prayer was offered by N. M. Jensen. The large attendenace and the many beautiful flowers bespoke the high esteem this good woman was held in this community. She leaves a . large posterity; four sons, two daughters, thirty grand children, sixteen great grandchildren; grand-children; one girl she raised from infancy; one brother and two sisters. Niels Arthur Christensen Dies i Saturday at Family Home Niels Arthur Christensen, 65, died Saturday,- June 29th at his home in Foutain Green. He was born March 26, 1881 at Moroni, Utah, the son of Lauritz and Caroline Car-oline Christensen. He married Clara Jensen Chapman July 8, 1903. At the time of his death he held the office of Elder in the L. D. S. church. He is survived by h'.s widow, four daughters, M.s. Geneva Mower and Mrs. Caroline Nielson Niel-son of Provo; Mrs. Norene Syn-dergaard Syn-dergaard of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Valene Beck, Fountain Green; one son, Hilton Chapman of Salt Lake City; four sisters. Mrs. Luvina Taylor, Mrs. Juliett Estes, Mrs. Darthea Bailey and Mrs. Celia Morley; five brothers Ezra, Joseph, William, LeRoy, and Claud Christensen, all of Moroni; Mo-roni; 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 3rd in the ward chapel with Bishop Scott Cook presiding. Interment was in the Morcii City cemetery, under the direction of the Ursenbach funeral fu-neral home. Social News Mr. and Mrs. Olive Field and children of Buena Vista, Penn. are visiting at the home of his mother, Mrs. Wilford Coombs. Mrs. Euleda Cook was hostess to the K. K. club members at her home Thursday evening. Rook was the evening diversion. Dinner was served to 17 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Lavoy Coombs and children of Salt Lake City visited during the week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George E. Cook. 4 , Mr. and Mrs. George C. Anderson Ander-son and son, Lavoy and wife of Salt . Lake City visited Tuesday with friends in Fountain Green, also attended the funeral service of their aunt, Mrs. Caroline M. Hansen Bough. Mr Owen Christensen was a Salt Lake City business visitor Tuesday. ; Mrs Luvina Hansen and daughters, Elinor and Lorame and a brotner, tuecnc ""j"'"-of ""j"'"-of Salt Lake City visited Tuesday with relatives. Mrs. Phyllis Oldroyd entertained entertain-ed at a birthday dinner Saturday evening in honor of her husband Dovce Oldroyd; also the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Old- rNd'E Mikkelson was the speaker speak-er at Sacramaent meeting Sunday Sun-day June 30th.
