King, Chief of Naval Operations, says there is no cheap way to win this war and admits that we do not have the tools of warfare or the trained men we need to get on with the fight faster. The Admiral asked for an end to interservice controversies, saying say-ing that there is no profit in agitating agi-tating and stirring up these arguments. ar-guments. He recalled that officers of-ficers who have receitly returned home from the Solomons report that there is no question of the "branch of service" there where "they are all down in the ditch digging together."
