This whole-hearted ef'ort represent one of the outstanding examples i f eoop'T.-ition in th history of I'tah. It is the continuation of the fine job which was started (l';:;ng the Centennial year. This unusual un-usual community program i- 1 being directed by the four agricultural agri-cultural teachers, Elden Wes- . tenskow, V. II. Gunderson, Law- ' rence K.Isen and Byron Mem-mott, Mem-mott, with the over-all direction of Superintendent Wilburn N. ' Ball. These men have been the spark plugs for the whole im-provem.-nt program. The people and the various community organizations or-ganizations have responded magnanimously with labor, , money, and encouragement. The ". hole enterprise is a credit to j the state. To the communities , of the state which were no j aroused during the Centennial . and which are still in a static c J stagnant condition, we wish to sav. GO THOU AND DO LIKEWISE. LIKE-WISE. "Moroni has an inter-community organization. A captain is appointed for each block with two or three men and wome assisting in a survey of each house and planning a program of improvements. A score sheet is used to determine the improvements im-provements -to be made. The owner of the home in each case signs voluntarily the score sheet designating certain improvements improve-ments to be made. "The Mt. Pleasant Pyramid paper will award two trophies to I ho communities making the most improvements on a pi-i capita basis. Flower garden clubs have boon organized.
