Show Irc'-ntiin Green I Concern Is Felt For Local Folks j Now In Oregon ! Great concern is felt by many friends and relatives for the safety of the Oldroyd family in i'Vanport, Oregon. Mrs. Dorothy Oldroyd and daughter left the first part of May to visit with ' a daughter, Mrs. Monte Jensen and family and a son, Dr. Reed Oldroyd and family. Later Mr. Oldroyd joined them for an indefinite in-definite vacation. 1 This town of 1S.400 people was completely destroyed by flood May 31. Search for missing victims vic-tims will not begin until the river recedes and reports are that it will be a matter of weeks. However, word has been received re-ceived through the Church that all L. D. S. members are safe. Many came home during the weekend holiday to place a flower on the grave of a departed de-parted loved one and to visit , j with relatives. Mrs. Olive Llewellyn and daughter of Salt Lake City, -formerly 0f Fountain Green, visited vis-ited among their many friends and relatives here during the day. Mrs. Ruby Ivory and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Lois Hansen of Salt Lake City visited with relatives and friends here on Sunday, May 30. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Draper of Salt Lake City were at the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary E. Draper. George E. Cook. M: and Mrs. Jack Holman and Mrs. Winni-fred Winni-fred Johnson of Salt Lake City Mrs. Hazel Clark of Provo, David Cook and son Loyal Cook of Craig. Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Christensen of Salt Lake Citv Mrs. Annie and Augusta Mikkelson of Provo, all the above mentioned and many others that escaped the reporter's eye came home to pay homage 1 fo those that they must leave behind and to enjoy and reunite re-unite "with old friends again.
