Vocal duet, "When You re ijur.e We Won't Forget You," Mlsj Lu-Dean Lu-Dean Madsen and Miss Maxoia Olson; accompanist. Miss Patsy Schofield. The speakers, Mrs. Ethel Larsen, Lar-sen, James W. Blain, Stake Pres. Golden D. Carlston ind Bishop Allred. spoke of the very good and fine life of Mrs. Allre'd. She lived the best she could to receive re-ceive the blessings promised. She kept the first great commandment com-mandment and also the second commandment, for her neighbors neigh-bors had only the best to speak of her. She leaves a famiiy of lovely children. Mrs. A Tired gave of her time and talents to the church and taught her iam-ily iam-ily to do the same. She carried her smile with her always." Eugene Terry played a violin solo, "Then You'll Remember Me", accompanist, Miss Carol Terry. A mixed quarte. sang "My Father Knows", Mrs. Elva Allred, Mrs. Vilate Hope, Joseph F. arisen and Eugene Terry. Benediction, Alfred Neilsen. Flowers at the chape! were cared for by Mrs. Ada Ellis. Mrs. Adelaide Thompson and Mrs. Vanda Petersen and were carried from the chapel by the members of the Social Service , club of which Mrs. Allred was ;a member. The pall bearers I were Louis Allred, George Cliff, jOrthell Allred, Lee Allred, Lyn-1 Lyn-1 don Jensen and Thayne Acord. j Interment was in the city cem-' cem-' etery under the direction of ! Jacobs Mortuary of MtPleas-! MtPleas-! ant. The grave was dedicated by James F. Ellis. Many relatives and friends were in attendance from other ! cities and towns of Utah. First For Thompsons And Andersons , Mayor and Mrs. Charles A. 1 Thompson have received word from San Angelo Texas. September Sep-tember 11th of the arrival of a son to Lt. and Mrs. Charles Rich-aid Rich-aid Thompson born en that morning. The new arrival weighed 6 and a half pounds and is named Charles Ray. The baby is the first for the younger young-er Thompsons. Tthe mother was the former Jane Anderson of Mt. Pleasant. Her mother. Mrs. Anderson is visiting with the Thompsons. Mi. and Mrs. Archie Aiken and daughters visited in Sail Lake City Sunday. The Ward Primary graduation was held Sunday evening in connection with the Sacrament service. The mother, the former Miss Thelma Osborne and baby arc visiting with parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pratt Osborne. ' Mr. and Mrs. Frank Petersen and children were visitors in Junction Saturday, visiting a sister of Mrs. Petersen. Ina Rose Hansen. 16. North Sanpete high school student, was injured Saturday noon in an accident in which she suffered suf-fered a concussion and lacerations. lacera-tions. Ina was riding her bicycl. on main street by the stores and upon leaving the store turned out from some cars and was hit bv a tractor. Miss Hansen and 'the tractor driver apparent appar-ent Iv had not seen each other. She was taken immediately to a Mt. Pleasant hospital, and several hours later was taken to her home in Spring City. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orland Hansen. Her condition is now reported as good. The Ward Primary study meeting meet-ing for September was hem Mondav evening at the home of President Libbie Allred. Vari ous matters pertaining to iw activities, reverance and birthday birth-day pennies were discussed Mrs Helen Madsen presented tne teachers training lesson. Mrs 01a Black was in charge of the meeting. -Following the meeting an hour of playing progressive pro-gressive rook was enjoyed with Mrs Otellia Justensen, Mrs. Ada Ellis and Mrs. Edith Sorensen as score winners. Mrs. Allred served light refreshments to the group. The students of the local grade and junior high schoo. are enjoying a new slide which has been recently added to their playground equipment. Other playground fun equipment will be added to the swings, slide and teeters. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Covert and family of Long Beach, Calif have been recent visitors at the home of their parents, Mr and Mrs. Elgant Covert. Visiting at the home of Mrs Flossie Blain Sunday were he children, Mr. and Mrs Carl Pyoer and small son, Mr. and Mrs Ted Dahl of Salt Lake city. Bishop and Mrs. Charles V. Finell and family of the Berkely Stake visited with their mother, Mrs. Mary Finell, Mr. and Mrs Fred Mickel and Mr and Mrs tt?ier Sehofield and family d uring-P -iif Mrs. Isobelle Kofford, Mr. and Mrs D. The previous week Mrs. Mary Finell had as her guests Mrs. Don Conover and Mrs. Parley I Petersen of Provo. These ladies are Intorsotod In ait and biouglw with them a number of beautiful beauti-ful paintings. Mis. Conover brought two oil paintings and S water colors, all Mowers from her own gardens. Mrs. Peterson had three floral paintings. Mis. Finell invited .several local ladies la-dies who are interested in ait work to meet the visiting ladies. Connie Clark celebrated her ath birthday anniversary. Her mother served refreshments to her little friends. Melba J. Wilkey entertained the Bridge club Wednesday evening. eve-ning.
