Show Former Citizen Passes Away Charles Antone Johansen Dies In Salt Lake Hospital Charles Antone Johansen, 63, of Cleveland, died at a Salt Lake City hospital Sunday August 29. He was born in Mt. Pleasant June 3, 1880, a son of Peter and Anna Christensen Johansen. Farming had been his principal occupation and he lived for many years in Emery county. He is survived by his widow, Sophia Ann Johansen of Cleveland, Cleve-land, and the following sons and daughters: Max D. Johansen, Drager;Mrs. Eunice Chatwin, of Salt Lake City; Sergeant Charles M. Johansen, U. S. army in south Pacific islands; SergeantE. Thomas Thom-as Johansen, Camp Carlson, Colorado; Col-orado; Lloyd V. Johansen, Elmo; Miss Lea D. Johansen, a member of the WAVES at San Diego, Cal.; Ruel W. Johansen, Rowey E. Johansen, Jo-hansen, and Glendon L. Johansen, Johan-sen, all of Cleveland; and six grandchildren. Funeral services wereconducted in the L D S chapel in Cleveland, Thursday at 1 p. m. and burial was in the Cleveland cemetery under direction of the Wallace mortuary. |
