Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rigby are the proud parents of twin boys ?In,at the MaQsen hospital in Mt. Pleasant Oct. 4th. The mother moth-er was formerly Ruth Hansen A baby boy was born Saturday, Oct. 5th to Mr. and Mrs. Gloyd Tidwell. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mickalak are happy to announce the arrival ar-rival of a daughter born Oct. 1st at the Dice hospital. The mother moth-er was formerly Beth Gee. A boy was born Saturday to Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Bell. The mother was Charlotte Barentson. Club News The Literary club members were entertained at the home of Mrs. Rena Crowther Monday afternoon. af-ternoon. A short business meeting meet-ing was held in connection with the social. The following officers of-ficers were elected. Mrs. Annie C. Jensen, President and Mrs. Bertha Christiansen, Secretary. Sadie Rasmussen entertained the "Birthday Club" members at her home Saturday. The afternoon after-noon was spent in a pleasant social way, after which delicious refreshments were served. The D. U. P. organization held their monthly meeting Thursday. A splendid program and refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed by all those Dresent. The Ward Relief society held their opening social Tuesday, October 8th. A large crowd was in attendance. A fine program was enjoyed and refreshments were served. Wayne Rosquist, son of Mr. and Mrs. Odvin Rosequist of Fountain Green, and Beth Black-ett Black-ett of Nephi were married Oct. 3rd in Nephi. A reception in the Nephi chapel followed, he young couple will make their home in Fountain Green. Mrs. Clark Tobbler and children chil-dren of St. George are the guests of Mayor and Mrs. Lyman Ly-man Seeley. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Oldroyd ol Todd Park visited this week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Oldroyd. Mrs. Lenna Larson and children chil-dren of Salt Lake City are visit ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Johnson. Melvin Cox, recently released from the U. S. service, is happ to be home again, after spending eighteen months with the Armed Forces. Mr. and Mrs. James Guymon, Mr. and Mrs. Verno Guymon and baby were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Ivory during the week. Mrs. Elmer Carter attended General Conference in Salt Lake City and is visiting with relatives rela-tives and friends during the week. , Mr. and Mrs. Eugent Syme and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hansen were Salt Lake City visitors during the past week. . Mr and Mrs. Ray Chnstensen and son, David, who have recently re-cently moved to Ephraim, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Oldroyd this week. Mrs. Elva Johnson visited recently re-cently in Salt Lake City, the guest of her daugter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ingle-filed. |
