Show I FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 By Special Correspondence I Allred Sisters Marry Miss Bertha Allred became the bride of Chauncy Riddle, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Riddle, in the St. George L. D. S. Temple July 31st. Miss Ruth Allred repeated nuptial vows in the Manti L D S Temple Aug., 14th with 1st Lt. Robert Timpson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Timpson of Salt Lake City. The two young brides are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Allred of McGillNevada, former residents of Fountain Green. Open House was held in their honor at the home of their grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Bertha Christiansen of this city Tuesday, August 14th, the hours were from 6:00 to 10:00 p. m. Many, friends and relatives called and many beautiful gifts were given to the brides. Pvt. Morris Cook, stationed in Texas, is spending a few days with his wife and children before be-fore leaving for a new location. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Anderson and daughter, KSthleen is visit- I ing at the home of Mrs. Ander-I Ander-I son's mother, Mrs. Linda Allred. Mr. Willard Hansen of Ogden visited during the week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Hansen. . Pvt. Morris Cook and 1st Sgt. Don Bailey of Nephi, were speakers speak-ers at Sacrament meeting Sunday, Sun-day, Aug. 12th. Mrs. Mathias Allied has returned re-turned from Salt Lake City, where they have spent the summer. sum-mer. Mr. and Mrs. Rav Ilolman of Provo visited during the week with relatives. Mrs. Ruby Ivory has sold her home to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mik-kelson Mik-kelson and Mr. Joseph P. Jensen has purchased the Mikkelson home. Mrs. Ivory will make her home in Salt Lake City, where she has a position teaching school. Mary Louise Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Bailey of Nephi, is visiting with her cousin, cous-in, Joyce Bailey, until after Lamb Day celebration. Mrs. Evelyn Larsen and children chil-dren of Springville is visiting at the !;ome of her father, C. S. Aug-j Aug-j ason. |
