Plans call for a spring wedding. Engagement of Arlene Reynolds is Announced Mrs. Cecil Reynolds of Mount Pleasant announces the engagement engage-ment of her daughter, Arlene to Mr. Dean C. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Anderson of this city. Miss Reynolds was a member ; of the graduating class at North Sanpete High in May, and is now i employed at the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Com- j pany as operator. Mr. Anderson also attended North Sanpete High ! School and is now employed by ' Mr. Leo Larsen. The couple plan to be married in the spring. Miss Reynolds received a handsome hand-some diamond engagement ring last Saturday. "Surprise!" Shout Friends Gf Mrs. Mills On Birthday A delightful surprise party greeted Mrs. E. G. Mills of Mt. Pleasant Monday evning on the occasion of her birthday. Also honored at the party was Delbert Hodges, a nephew of Mrs. Mills, whose birthday was also Monday. Mr. Hodges returned this week to his home in Long-Beach, Long-Beach, Calif., after spending the summer in Mt. Pleasant. More than 20 relatives and friends attended the festivities which were arranged by Mrs. A. L. Peterson, a sister of Mrs Mills, and Mrs. Dale Averett, a daughter-in-law. Those attending attend-ing were from Mt. Pleasant, Eph-raim Eph-raim and Moroni. The evening included a chicken chick-en dinner and an impromptu entertainment en-tertainment program led by Mrs. Mills' husband who played the guitar and-led the group in sinp i ing. Accompaniment was also furnished by Herbert Farnsworth on the harmonica. |
