I By Special Correspondence Fairview City has set the following follow-ing budget for 1937: Expenditures, waterworks, $300; electric lights, $2,280; general fund, $4,075; streets, $400; salaries, $1,035; intere.t on waterworks bonds, $490; payment on waterworks bonds, $500; interest on 1932 waterworks bonds, $315; interest inter-est on light b:ndL', $787; interest on emergency loan bond i, $452; interest inter-est on tax anticipation bonds, $366. Well attended funeral services were held Tuesday, January 12 for John W. Anderson, 76. Bishop H. W. J;nes presided. Music was by the Faiiwiew choirs under direction cf J:sse L. Young. Special numbers were a vecal solo "That Silvei Haii ed Daddy of Mine" by Floyd Young and a vocal duet, "Whispering "Whis-pering Hope," by Mr. and Mrs. Golden Petersen. Speakers wert Bish p John R. Graham, Petal SundwP.H and Bishop Jones. All spoke well of the life and labors cf Mr. Andersen. He wa. a native of Sweden, has be;n an honest, hardworking hard-working man, a good neighbor, a ! loving husband and father. He has reared a large family. All his children chil-dren were present at the funeral, one daughter c mlng from Colorado. Prayers we,- giver: by A. L. Carl-stcn Carl-stcn and Willis Brad!y.
