Show FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 Bv Special Correspondence I Word was received by relatives here of the arrival of a baby girl en January 25th at the home of Profess-r and Mrs. LeRoy J. Robertson Rob-ertson of Provo. Mr. Irvin Coomb:, is in a very f-evious condition due to influenza and pneumonia. Last Wednesday evening Mrs. Ray 'Livingston, Mrs. Vea Jensen and Mrs. Lyda Carter entertained the members of the Sorcsis club and their husband's at the home of Mrs. Ray Livingston. A hot dinner was served after which games were played. Th? ward chapel was fiUed to capacity last Sunday when a special program was arranged for by the Genealogical committee in both Sunday School and Sacrament meeting. It consisted of music played by George Brox, age 76, the choir leader of the Mantl Temple, He played seven different instruments, instru-ments, some of which were over 60 years old. The zither is hi? favorite instrument and he played several selections on it. Another prized possession cf Mr. Brox f? a set of dolls which danced on the zither in time to the vibration of the strings. The speaker in Sacrament meeting was Axel Nielsen cf Mantl. The Elite club memberr were entertained en-tertained last Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Edith C;ok. After enjoying a social chat, a delicious de-licious hot dinner was served. President Joseph R. Christiansen announce- that Moroni Stake conference con-ference will be held at Fountain Green on February 13th and 14th. Everyone is urged to be in attendance. attend-ance. Miss Delia Robertson and Miss Winnified Cook are visiting in Salt Lake this week. Mr-. Ros- Livingston entertained the club members and husbands 'ast Sunday evening at her home. A delight'Ul time was spent after which a delicious dinner was rerved. Mrs. Janet Despain, 80, is quite ill and is new bedfast. She has been in a very weekened condition for some time past. Mr. and Mr.. Wallace Christen-s"n Christen-s"n and children are in Salt Lake this week receiving medical aid for their young sen James. |
