Show Gov. Blood Appointed to Road Builders' Committee Governor Henry , H. Blood of Utah has been appointed by the American Road Builders' Association Associa-tion to honorary membership on its Committee on Safe Highways, according to an announcement from the office of Charles M. Up-ham, Up-ham, Washington, D. C, engineer-director engineer-director of the association. The American Road Builders' Association, representing all the branches of the highway industry and profession, is promoting countrywide coun-trywide sentiment for the modernization modern-ization of antiquated highways to make them safe for present-day traffic. Embracing all agencies interested and co-operating in the building of safety into the nation's roads, the assocation's Committee on ' , Safe Highways includes, with the . appointment ap-pointment cf Governor Blood, 30 governors as honorary members and 19 advisors members representing outstanding national groups interested inter-ested in highway safety. They comprise professional societies, federal fed-eral agencies, safety council-, or-ganizatiens or-ganizatiens of highways users and publicity units. |
